Shipping and Returns

The Meriadoc Trading Company will ship to anywhere in the Mainland UK. We do not ship to other EC countries, the US, or anywhere else.

Delivery Charges are £11.75 for any order under £100. Thereafter deliveries are free of charge.

Given the nature of our product, you might find that our shipping charges are somewhat higher than for regular items. This is for two reasons. Firstly, we are delivering bottles. In our experience, this can be a little difficult for large volume carriers to handle. The second reason reason is it enables us to ensure that our cider is not delivered to minors.

Whilst we ask customers to allow 7 working days for delivery, most items are usually in stock and immediately available so orders are generally received within a few days. If so desired, London deliveries can be requested for saturdays.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be kept up to date via email with the option to change your order if you would rather not wait.

If a shipment is returned to us as a result of the recipient being un-contactable or not responding to a card left by the carriers, a second delivery charge may be made at our discretion before the goods are re-delivered.

Please note that if your shipment becomes lost as a result of you entering an incorrect or incomplete address when placing your order, we will not be held responsible for the loss.

No delivery will be completed without a signature by someone over 18 years of age.

Returns Policy

Damaged items - If items arrive damaged, we require you to send the product back to us in its original packaging or similar. A new item will be dispatched upon receipt and upon investigation. Should the package appear damaged upon arrival, please do not sign for it.

Erroneous Items - Items sent out in error will be exchanged for the correct item. We will send you a reply paid box or envelope and once we have received the incorrect item back from you, we will despatch the correct one.

You must notify us of any problems with your order within 48 hours of receipt of your order.

Where refunds are given, we reserve the right, where appropriate, to issue a credit note.
